On the peninsula of Cap Ferret, and on the banks of the Arcachon Bay located in Southwestern France, stands a peaceful oyster farming village which has kept all its authenticity and charm of yesteryear. Among the twelve villages that make up the town of Lège-Cap-Ferret, the Village de l’Herbe is undoubtedly the most beautiful around. With its huts with colorful shutters, its typical streets, its charm and its tranquility, it is with this feeling of being in another era that the village takes you.
The village is an explosion of colors: windows, wooden facades, flowers, … where you can see at the end of the alleys the sea and its hundreds of typical boats like the pinnace of the Bassin d’Arcachon here in this shot.
